So I've been really quiet the last year and a half, this is mostly due to my apprentice ship but not only. After my apprenticeship ended I went to a motivation course to get back to school as I was missing some grades that I really needed to get into university. I did get accepted to a school after finishing the course and went there for a year and got all the grades needed and also some extras like basic psychology. Then this past April when it was time to apply to universities here in Sweden where I live, I started to apply to university to study to become a teacher. School ended on 5 June and as I mentioned before I did get my grades. The wait to get the answer from universities has been long but this past Friday(11 July) I finally got my answer, I got into university and I got my top choice.
The very same day as I got to know that I got into university me and my lovely boyfriend celebrated our 3 years anniversary. So from now on this blog will most likely be about my life at university and the preparations before I start university. I hope you'll enjoy it.
Same shit, different day

So lately I've been pondering what to write next when it finally hit me, let's talk about translations, and the lack of good ways to translate some words. It hit me the other day when I watched a video on this subject on youtube. Here in Sweden we have a word that is "lagom" now in English it's a bit hard to translate but it would be not too much and not too little but just right. We also have word for anything meaty that you put on a sandwich that word is "pålägg". For English words that goes the same way id's say peckish would be a good word, I'm not really sure that we have a Swedish translation for that.
In Danmark there's a word "skide" witch usually is translated to shitty but if you combined it with the word "godt" (meaning good) like this "skide godt" it instantly changes meaning to mean really good.

So my first entry on this blog was about my day in general with a lot of random pictures and I do understand that most people that read blogs is interested in reading stuff like that. With that out of the way I wanted to do a little presentation of me.
Anyways let's start, my name is Ghost but my friends call me Ghosty. I'm curently 25 years turning 26 in January. I live in the south of Sweden and it's really nice here, we got a rather mild but still rainy climate. I live close to Denmark and my mum is Danish, my dad is Swedish. Most of people that meet me would probably think that I'm a loud and annoying and loud person but if you get to know me I'd say that I'm a really nice and really good at listening. I like reading and read a lot when I have the time for it.
There's a lot of things that I like and some of them aren't that mainstream, at least not here in Sweden. Like anime, not many people here likes it and if you do you're usually considered childish. And some are not even considered mainstream what so ever, either way I don't worry bout it too much cause I still like it.
Well what I wanted to tell you all about today was really Christmas, the old pagan midwinter festival that the Romans made into the birth of Christ, even thou it's said that he was born in spring, either way that's not what I wanted to talk about. What I did want to talk about is that in most of the world you get your Christmas presents on the morning of Christmas day, well in Sweden we get then on Christmas eve just after(or before) having our Christmas dinner. Also we have a kind of rice pudding for desert. There's a lot of other things that is different in Sweden when it comes to Christmas but I'll leave it up to you if you want to know more about it.
What did I get as a Christmas gift you might wonder? Well I got clothes, money and a necklace. Well that's about it for now. I'll see ya all again soon.

Hello!
This is just a short blog with a lot of pictures, it'll all be about my day and how the world is in my perspective... OK let's start.
My day started really nicely, we had some snow during the night... and when I say some snow it really means a tinny amount as you can see.
Well as you can see it's not really enough snow to complain about not being able to go outside but still SNOW:D
Well usually in the morning when I get up I'm still kinda tired so I grab a nap on the sofa under my snugly blanket, it's alls nice and green.
So sleepy I am, well after some more hours of napping I usually have breakfast, today it was just two simple toasted bread slices with Nutella and some juice. Then I get dressed and head to my apprentice work.
Making locks can be kinda hard when you have no idea what you're doing, luckily I was a fast learner and can make locks:D At the apprentice job I do more than just make locks, I also make keys, check what things we got and also sells things. When there's nothing else to do I either read or clean.
First we vacuum and then we uses water to mop the floor, look how dirty the water are after cleaning the floor
Not nice right? Well like it was today we had so little to do that I decided to make the dishes. Thou there where not much to do, only 3 forks, 2 glasses and 2 knives.
It feels so nice when it's Friday cause then wok ends at 4 instead of 5 and I get to go home earlier. Today when I got home my sister and her family was here and I got to see my nieces and nephew. After they left I decided to flop down in front of the laptop.
It was a really slow evening and me and my mum and dad watched telly together. As I got hungry i grabbed a clementine
I also enjoyed the nice Christmas lights we got in the window, it's wood work if you wondered...
Later I moved to my room and enjoyed talking with my boyfriend and some other friends, listening to the radio and played some games. It was bed time.
Oh I nearly forgot, the snow man wanted to say hi too.
After that I pulled my curtains shot and went to bed before realising that I had forgotten to brush my teeth so guess what, I went to brush them.
And time to go to bed but HEY who's this? Well it's my cat, he looks angry cause he don't get new water nor does he like that I steal back my bed, well fine he's allowed in it even if I'm sleeping but lately he hasn't wanted to share
Finaly it's time to snuggle up in my warm and cozy bed.
This is how my past weekend has been, but hey it's Christmas soon so I'm totally not the one to complain.
Until next time, have a nice day.
